We breed and show AKC GSD's. German Sheperd Dogs and BC"s, Border Collies, or I should say our girls do... and have been ever since the girls met a man and his wife in a local park who were having a dog class and asked the girls to help them run their dogs. That was about 9 yrs ago and here we are. Our girls are accomplished dog handlers and trainers. They have learned to handle many breeds beyond GSD's and BC's. We have certainly learned much over the years, too. We currently have Chyna and Nick living with us, both are retired from showing.
One of our girls is starting her breeding program in August this year. Meanwhile she is busy with two babies and handling for other breeders on the weekends, and handling her own dogs!! She travels quite a bit to shows and just loves to go in the ring!
Our second daughter just started co-owning a pup from Sharobi Kennels back in December of '07 and will be handling him in his first show on June 23nd on Oregon city, Or. there is a pic of she and he in the photos section. She is co-owning with Dugas Kennels.
His ears are not coming up right so they have taped those ears and he is wearing a "cone" for now, poor little guy!! It will all be worth it in the end! Hes taken it like a champ.
Hi this is Amy the "second daughter" my moms just braggin about me, i am a handler and i do show my dog as well as other peoples dogs, i have been doing it for a long time, i like it alot. I no lots of people in the show area, Jim barnhart, James Moses, Ray johnson, to name a few of the top handlers that i have and still deal with. I love them all i love the whole seen, traveling meeting new people bonding with mine as well as other peoples dogs.
